The third edition of PDFA Cup began at UPFC Campus here on Wednesday. On Matchday 1 the first match was played between AK FC and Khalasar FC. The first half ended on a 3 – 3 stalemate but Khalasar FC went on to win the match by 5 – 4. Rohit scored a brace while Manzil Limbu and Lalneisiak Sakachep scored apiece for Khalasar FC. One goal was credited to Kabir or AK FC as an own goal. AK FC put up a decent fight despite their captain Kankhu being taken off due to an injury. The scorers for AK FC were Lhuminthang (2 goals), Arun Kumar and Souvik ( one each).
